· Pistas de bolas más profundas que los estándares de la industria para albergar unas bolas más grandes y obtener una capacidad de carga y vida del rodamiento mayores.

AC: Contacto Angular. Diseño interior capaz de soportar cargas radiales y axiales. Además, permite poder ajustar la tolerancia del componente sin dañar el rodamiento por exceso de precarga. Todas las bolas del rodamiento están sometidas a una precarga y trabajan simultáneamente soportando la carga, en lugar de hacerlo sólo las pocas que están bajo carga en los rodamientos radiales.

LOS RODAMIENTOS AC5 TIENEN UNA POSICIÓN DE INSTALACIÓN ÚNICA (!). EL OBTURADOR NARANJA SIEMPRE HACIA FUERA. (O en alguna referencia está marcado "OUT": este lado siempre hacia fuera).

LOS RODAMIENTOS AC5 SE DEBEN DE MONTAR SÓLO EN COMPONENTES QUE PERMITAN AJUSTAR LA PRECARGA. Si se montan en un buje que unicamente lleve los rodamientos a presión en una posición fija con el eje, la rueda tendrá holgura sin posibilidad de ser corregida.

AC5 series ANGULAR CONTACT Ball Bearing

· Seals: Labyrinth NBR rubber both sides. LLB (dual lip, light contact)
· Grease: Almagard 3752 Marine Extra High Pressure
· Deeper ball races than industry standards to fit bigger balls for a higher load capacity and bearing life.

LLB: Light contact dual lip labyrinth Nitrile rubber seal. The outside lip keeps water and contaminants out, while the inner lip retains grease for smooth function and long service intervals.

AC: Angular Contact. Internal design is able to stand radial and axial loads. It also allows to adjust component tolerance without damaging the bearing by a preload excess. All balls in the bearing are preloaded and work together at the same time standing the load, instead of doing it just by the few balls under load on radial bearings.

AC5 bearings HAVE ONE ONLY INSTALLATION POSITION (!). ORANGE SEAL HAS TO FACE OUT. (Or on some references you may find "OUT": always facing outside).

AC5 BEARINGS MUST ONLY BE ASSEMBLED IN COMPONENTS WITH AN ADJUSTABLE PRELOAD MECHANISM. If they are assembled in a hub with a pressed-in unique position within the axle, the wheel will have play, without option to fix it.
